A little about Mountain Home
We’ve been managing a portfolio of about 90 private homes for years, and in 2016 we expanded our business to include a small selection of long term rentals / executive housing. If you reside in an area that does not allow short term rentals due to zoning or homeowners association rules, we’d love to visit with you about this other rental option.
As members of the Vacation Rental Manager’s Association (VRMA) we are on the leading edge of industry trends and software. We have the most up to date web-based marketing programs and the ability to distribute homes on industry leading websites (airbnb& VRBO) and OTA’s. We provide excellent customer service from the moment of inquiry to post-departure, establishing long relationships with guests and a high return rate.
How our management works
We earn commission, so we are only making money if you are. We take care of coordinating the housekeeping for each home and provide a great housekeeping team. Each rental includes up to $3000 of coverage for accidental damage, keeping your home safe, damage free, and well-maintained. One of our Mountain Home team members is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure guest’s needs are met and every emergency is reported and responded to as quickly as possible. We take care of the nitty gritty and let you enjoy the freedom of knowing your home and your rental guests are well cared for.
Leave the paperwork and bookkeeping to us
We are here to guide your through the steps to get and keep your home licensed with local, county, and state entities.
The required accommodations tax is collected from guests by our office and remitted to the state, so you don’t have to think about it.
We take care of the cleaning and light maintenance bills so that those are not a concern either.
Owners receive timely and detailed monthly statements and income checks, as well as year-end statements for tax purposes.
