We stayed in several homes in our trip accross the continent last year and this home was by far the worst and the price was the highest. Smell of home upon entering was terrible and had to open all windows, old musty dirty carpet smell. Patio table was crumbiling with pieces all over the patio and old dirty chairs, kitchen was old and appliances were not in good shape, many items were not clean, etc... We raised this with the rental company and there was no discount applied to the home rentail. Do not recommend staying in this home.

Hello Linda -

Thank you for your candid assessment of our services. Our top priority is for all of our guests to be delighted with both the quality of our homes and with our guest service. I'm truly sorry that you were not disappointed. Your comments and suggestions have been used to improve the home. Thank you!

We did discuss the issues that you found at the home during your stay in August of last year. At that time we offered what we thought was a fair compensation. You accepted it and it was our understanding that you were satisfied. Two months after your vacation was over you contacted us again to discuss further compensation, which we did decline. We do hope that you will be our guests again sometime - we would love the opportunity to wow you with the best service ever!

Best regards - Suzy Hall, manager

Elbow creek retreat is an excellent vacation rental for a big group. We stayed there early august for almost a week as a group of 3 families with kids. It can easily accommodate 12-15 people and has a lovely yard and hot tub which the kids enjoyed. The night sky from outside was marvelous and though we were there to see Yellowstone we stayed in the house for a day without going out just to have fun there. The only issue with the place is that its almost an hour drives to the North entrance of Yellowstone so daily drives get a little tiring. The only other minor complaint is the water pressure is low, especially the hot water. Also, you have follow the directions on the app. We were there late the first day following the GPS which took us to the wrong house and since it was pitch dark it was a little difficult to find it. The directions provided in the app though was spot on. Definitely a great place to stay though.
Quiet and beautiful area--great place to stay.

Nice home. Loved staying up against the foothills of the absarokas, and hiking the foothills. Watched the cattle move to pasture in the morning, and back at night. Stars unimaginably bright. Attended the 4th of July Rodeo, floated the Yellowstone, soaked at Chico hot springs, toured Yellowstone, and fished several of the streams and the river. Finished up with a baseball cut sirloin at the Rib and Chop, Amazing week!
