Stunning 3 bedroom cabin just North of Livingston, relax on the deck and enjoy the views and visiting wildlife.
Fish the Shields River on the property or the Yellowstone River just minutes away.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This gorgeous cabin is about as perfect as they come! Just over a mile off a paved road with amazing views and opportunity for fishing and wildlife viewing. This cabin is beautifully furnished and offers lots of privacy! The cabin is located on the Shields River and about 11 miles from Livingston.

BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: The home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with luxurious bedding for a restful night's sleep. The attached master bathroom has a soaking tub and a large tiled shower. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom off the hall. One bedroom has a queen size log bed and the other has two twin beds.

KITCHEN/DINING: The kitchen opens to the dining area and has a gas range and oven, microwave, dishwasher and all the cookware and serving ware you could need. The dining table seats six and there is also stool seating at the counter.

LIVING ROOM: The cozy living room has a stone fireplace and French doors to the deck. The furnishings are very tasteful, as well as comfortable. Gorgeous artwork and tapestries in the cabin really add that special touch. There is a big screen television with satellite cable for your entertainment. There are music channels available through the satellite TV, as well as an iPod docking station. Limited Satellite wireless internet is available.

SETTING: The home sits on over 20 acres in a secluded location North of Livingston. Views of the rugged Crazy Mountains is all you can see from the home!

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: The home has a large deck with plenty of outdoor furniture and a gas grill. Bird and wildlife-watching opportunities abound.

TOWN/AIRPORT: It's about 10 miles to Livingston and 40 miles to Bozeman and Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport.

NEARBY ACTIVITIES: Besides hiking and mountain biking right out the door, there is fishing, horseback riding, golf, skiing, tours in Yellowstone and more! The towns of Livingston, Gardiner and Bozeman have an amazing array of shops and restaurants as well. Yellowstone National Parks North Entrance is just 66 miles away.

Shields Riverbend Ranch is a beautiful home with astounding views and grounds. We loved every. minute of being there - even through an area-wide power outage (due to high winds one of the days we were there). There is every single thing you didn't know you even needed in this home. Someone was very thoughtful when imagining anything a guest could possibly need. It was so peaceful and quiet and restful! We fished, trained our dog in the ponds, watched the wildlife, cooked every day and simply enjoyed just being there. We went into Boseman almost every day for fishing trips and some wedding activities (we combined a family wedding with a vacation) and Livingston was so close, we could run to the Albertson's for anything we needed for meals. The home even has shopping bags to use while you're there. The staff at Mountain Home were fantastic before and during the rental - they answered all my questions promptly, always answered the phone when I needed to call out of hours about the power outage), and were always cheerful and accommodating. I will plan future vacations to the area around the availability of this home, and I hope we'll be back very soon. Thank you to the owners and rental staff for all your care and support.

This ranch home was absolutely amazing! Beautiful inside and beautiful views outside, together with all the amenities and the best stocked pantry I’ve ever had at a rental. We had an amazing week with our family and would love to return some day. We were there the week following the flood so were not able to go to Yellowstone or ride down the river but found plenty of other beautiful places to visit and things to do and just relaxing at the ranch was also heavenly. The guys also enjoyed fishing in the river in the property. Thank you to the Kohlers for this piece of paradise!!

What a great place. We fell in love with the Ranch as soon as we arrived. This place is so well stocked with necessities it was amazing. We’ll be back in 2 years and hope the Ranch is available because we can think of no other place we would rather be when visiting Montana. You folks deserve a hand for a job well done. Thank you!

This beautiful home had everything we needed and then some! We enjoyed the outdoor areas (back deck and fire pit). The house had authentic western decor and was very comfortable. We hope to stay again on our next trip to Yellowstone Park.

This was a great company to work with for booking our vacation! I would definitely rent from them again, and would recommend them to anyone. They responded very quickly if we had questions, and for the one problem we had, they took care of it promptly. This is a beautiful home!! It was perfect for our family of 5. We have 3 kids (ages 11, 9 & 6), and they absolutely loved the huge yard! They went out every day to see the bunnies. Deer would frequent the yard in the mornings and evenings. We also got to see a red fox out there! My husband thoroughly enjoyed fishing in the Shields River, and caught several rainbow trout, one brook trout, and one cutthroat trout. Definitely a fisherman's paradise! The linens that were provided were high-quality. Very comfy beds! The kitchen was very well-equipped with top-notch pots, pans, dishes & utensils. The grill was HUGE and we cooked out a couple of nights. You have everything you'd possibly need to cook great meals in, if desired. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

River Home

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Shields Riverbend Ranch. The house is very comfortable, especially having a real fireplace and tasteful furnishings. We loved to be able to walk through the backyard to the beautiful Shields river. The views are great, you see the Absaroka-, Crazy- and Bridger Mountains from different windows. The location is wonderful; just 15 min to Livingston; yet you are away from the crowds. We will be back whenever we travel to the Livingston area. Management is great. Got us an early check in and mailed back an item we forgot at the house. Thank you for opening your wonderful place to us.

We were able to meet with our kids at a mid-way point which happens to be Livingston. We selected the Shields River Bend Ranch for its abundant acreage. It exceeded our expectations in peacefulness, scenery, wildlife & a very nice "home" feel to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family. The home was very clean and cozy. We plan on having many more gatherings with our family there. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at SRR. The location proved perfect for visiting the Livingston, Bozeman and Big Timber area. The home is very comfortable and fit our needs perfectly. The kitchen was well equipped and the owners have obviously put considerable thought into the western decor. The home was clean (most important factor in a vacation home) and well kept in all respects. Hopefully this trend will continue as we make plans to return next year! We would recommend this home to our friends without hesitation.

Loved Riverbend Ranch. Might not give it the 5 star review were it not for the team at Mountain Home. They responded to each of our needs promptly and thoroughly. The house was well appointed and the perfect location for our needs! Loved the front porch and back deck! The decor was cowboy heaven!! Such great amenities. Weather was not great lots of storms but we didnt mind a bit! Highly recommend this house and the Mountain Home team. Thank you!!
