Silver Peaks

Tastefully decorated home ready for a fun gathering with your family and friends.

Near Yellowstone National Park, Chico Hot Springs and the fun, western town of Livingston.

The home has central air conditioning.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This spacious home is located about halfway down the Paradise Valley, between Livingston and Yellowstone National Park. Gorgeous views of Emigrant Peak are just out your back door and you are just minutes from the Yellowstone River!

BEDROOMS AND BATHS: This home has four bedrooms, two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. On the main level of the home is the master bedroom with a queen size bed and private bath. The room is very spacious with a small desk and wooden rocking chair. The bathroom features a large soaking tub and a separate shower with rainwater showerhead. The other three bedrooms are on the lower level of the home. There is a room with a second queen size bed, a room with two twins and a third small room with a single twin. These bedrooms share a large full bathroom off the hall with a tub and shower combo plus a half bath. The second half bathroom is just off the main living area upstairs. In addition, the family room futon can serve as a sleeping area if needed. The home can accommodate up to eight guests.

KITCHEN: This fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need to cook up some good meals for the crew. In addition to all the cookware and serving ware you will need, there is a good spice cabinet and a gas grill outside for barbecues.

DINING AREA: The dining area adjoins the kitchen and living area with a harvest table that will seat up to eight comfortably. There is room for two additional guests at the bar separating the dinner area from the kitchen or out on the deck.

LIVING ROOM: The living room has comfy furniture situated around the gorgeous gas rock fireplace. Doors lead out to the deck as well. With the doors open and ceiling fans on, you’ll enjoy a nice flow of air through the home. During the rare weeks of the year that we have really warm weather, the home also has A/C. If your group needs some more room, there is a family room on the lower level. The lower level family room has seating around the television area. The TV has satellite and a DVD/VCR. There is a sliding door that opens to a cool, shady stone patio.

SETTING, ACREAGE, VIEWS: Silver Peaks is on 2.8 hillside acres above the Paradise Valley. There are a few neighbors within sight, but the home enjoys unobstructed views of nearly the entire valley and the rugged Absaroka Mountains as well. The deck is designed to maximize the views with clear panels instead of wooden railing running the full length of the house.

CLOSEST TOWN AND AIRPORT: It's about one hour to Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport. Livingston and Gardiner are both about 30 minutes from the home.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY: Besides hiking and mountain biking on nearby trails, there is fishing on the Yellowstone River just minutes away, horseback riding, rafting, golf, Yellowstone National Park and everything that the towns of Livingston and Bozeman have to offer. The homeowners also have left a generous library of information on hiking/fishing access points and many local hiking trails.

The large kitchen - with a gas stove! I also liked the number of bathrooms. Getting up and out was so much easier! It seemed a bit dusty. Perhaps it was unoccupied for awhile. Not a big deal, but baseboards and ledges need a quick wipe. We were surprised by the big grassy yard! My grandson loved being able to run around and kick his soccer ball! He never goes anywhere without the soccer ball! My daughter & I loved all of the closet space.

Even better than the pictures! The home was warm and inviting. It had everything we needed and more! Plenty of room for all of us and what a bonus to get to wake up to that view every morning!

This was a great house. Shared with 6 friends and we made daily excursions to Livingston, Gardiner and Yellowstone. The house was comfortable and spacious. My only complaint is that the wifi is very, very slow. Once we got used to that fact and accepted that we would not be able to keep up with work email, things were OK. But we were frustrated for the first few days.

It is a wonderful home, not far from Yellowstone’s North Entrance. The home is warm and welcoming, perfectly appointed. The pictures do not do it justice! If you are driving from the park, shop in Emigrant, MT as there are no grocery or other supply stores nearby.
Magnificent, majestic View with an "At Home" feeling, in the Mou

Silver Peaks was the highlight home of our 2 week end of summer vacation to Montana! There was plenty of room for the 7 of us to have our own space and not be on top of each other...My Husband and I, along with our 2 daughters (ages 4 and 6), my Husband's Parents and his Sister all went out for his cousin's wedding in West Yellowstone...from the last few days of July,2013-the 2nd week of august, 2013. The view, the accommodations, the customer service, the cleanliness, the location, and the gorgeous home, far exceeded our expectations! ( and surpassed by far, the home, and rental agency, we used for the second half of our trip in Island Park, Idaho!). We would love to stay at Silver Peaks again, if we make the trip back in the future! The courteous staff is top notch, and even called to make sure, we had made it in safely, and that we were enjoying our stay! Hands down, the best rental experience, we have ever had, in all of our travels over the past 10 years!!! Thank you Mountain Home-Montana Vacation Rentals, and Owners of Silver Peaks, for making our trip, not only memorable, but wonderful!!!
We had wonderful family times together.

Just me, the mom and grandma
This home has a beautiful view of Emigrant Peak. This location worked perfectly for us as our son and his family live in the area and it gave us opportunity to spend more time together when our daughters and some of their families spent time here in the area. Saved us the 30 mile drive down the Paradise Valley from Livingston where our home is. We weren't able to spend time on the deck enjoying the view because of the cooler temps but we surely enjoyed it from around the fireplace.
A rental with a view!

Silver Peaks was very comfortable and featured an open dining room, family room and kitchen area. The bedrooms were good sized and the bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. We were only 30 minutes from the north entrance to Yellowstone and enjoyed the daily trips into the park. The views from the back deck were beautiful during the day and at night, the stars came out to finish our day!
A great week in a great home!

We spent six days and five nights at this wonderful home. We had a very relaxing and inspiring time. The home is nicely decorated, with a very open floor plan on the main floor, and amazing views of the Yellowstone river valley. We've got four boys so staying at a hotel means at least two separate rooms and then lots of eating out. Staying in this home allowed us to have lots of space and cook our own meals. It probably saved us money. It took us about 40 minutes to drive from the house to the entrance of Yellowstone park each day, but that was a small price to pay for the beautiful accommodations. We would definitely stay there again. Internet was too slow for any video, but fine for email and simple browsing. No TV on the main floor, just downstairs, but that was great as our family ended up playing games in the evening. The Jacuzzi Tub in the master bedroom was a big hit with my wife and my two youngest boys (6 and 8). All in all, a wonderful trip, great location.
Absolutely amazing

My mother and I along with my boyfriend and his family enjoyed this home very much for our vacation. The home is well maintained and has the most beautiful view of the mountains you could ask for. This house is about a 25 minute drive to the North Entrance of Yellowstone and away from all the tourists!! The beds are comfy, the master bedroom upstairs has an amazing bath with the gorgeous view of the mountains. The house has everything you could need in the Kitchen. There is nothing bad to say about this house. There is only one TV downstairs, but none of us even wanted to be inside. It's close to the Yellowstone River which has amazing fishing for Rainbows and Brown Trout, but some of the good spots aren't easy to access and requires some climbing down and over rocks. We also went up to Bozeman and enjoyed seeing Brutus the Grizzly Bear at the Grizzly Bear Encounter. We highly recommend this house and will be back again another year!
