A hike out the back door gets you up into the high peaks, and a short drive to the valley will get you on to the upper Madison River for fishing or to Cliff and Wade Lakes for boating and lake fishing. Then home again to your cozy retreat.

BEDROOMS AND BATHS: The studio cabin has one California King bed and two sets of twin bunks, for a total of five beds. There is one bathroom with a stall shower.

LIVING ROOM: The cozy living room has a free standing gas fireplace for chilly evenings. There’s a television with satellite service, and a great selection of family movies for enjoying after a day of exploring.

SETTING, ACREAGE, AND VIEWS: The Bunkhouse shares a 40 acre parcel with the property’s main house, where the owners live. It’s set on a sunny mountainside, affording you stunning views of the valley in one direction, and the peaks of the Madison Range in the other.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: The Bunkhouse has patios on three sides so you’re sure to enjoy sun, shade and all the views. There’s a picnic table, a porch swing and glider, and a hot tub plenty big enough for the whole gang.

Perfect Yellowstone home base.

The bunkhouse was perfect for our week long Yellowstone vacation. Good location in a beautiful area, but still close to Island Park and West Yellowstone. (About a half-hour drive from the West Yellowstone Park gate.) We stayed with our three teenagers and there was plenty of room. The bunkhouse has everything you can think of, down to chip clips and pizza cutters. About the only thing that could be added to make it even better would be a washer and dryer. The management company is pretty responsive and will check in with you to make sure everything is going OK.

Close to West Yellowstone with great hiking/horse riding trails close by. Bunk house is as described. Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. One note, be prepared, cell coverage and wifi are minimal. Not a problem if you are prepared. DVDs and Sat TV work well, just don't plan on cruising the internet.

It is about 30 mins from Yellowstone's west entrance but don't let that distance put you off, we were able to put in full days at the park and still be back here in time to get enough sleep to repeat again the next day. There is an app you can download with all the details you need, wi-fi is also provided. The cabin is located up a long gravel drive but the directions provided were good enough for us to find it even as the day turned to night. It is furnished to a very high standard, comfortable and welcoming with a well equipped kitchen that meant we could cook there too. We never got to try the hot tub but just stepping out the door and breathing the mountain air was relaxing enough. One of the best we have ever rented.
Great Cabin! Peaceful surrounding

This cabin was a great choice. It is very spacious, enough to comfortably hold 4 people. While it has beds for 6, that would be pushing it. The surroundings are very peaceful. The hot tub was great to relax in after a day of hiking at the park. The owners were also very friendly and helpful, giving us useful tips on the area and just chatting about the home. The kitchen was well stocked with nice utensils. The internet service was spotty at best. We heard that wind slows down the service and, considering the location, good internet is simply going to be hard to come by. This cabin is about 30 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone park. If you've never been to Yellowstone before, it's another good 20 minutes of driving until any of the major sites. Thus, I will say that you need to be prepared to do a lot of driving if you plan on using this cabin as your home base. My wife and I thought that it was worth it for us, just wanted to let people know this. We were very happy with our experience here. We wished that the drive to the park had been shorter, but that was the only real downside to this cabin. If you want to get away from it all, I think this would be a great choice for a couple or a couple with one or two children.
You won't want to leave the porch

The Bunkhouse turned out to be as big as my condo, except with no interior walls. It is comfy, clean and well furnished, especially with everything you need to prepare your own meals. Both front and back porches had excellent views of the Montana foothills. And we really appreciated the hot tub after a day of hiking in Yellowstone. It is about a half hour drive from the west Yellowstone entrance.
Absolutely perfect!

We stayed at The Bunkhouse in early June for 4 days and absolutely loved it! It had plenty of room for our party of 6 and was very comfortable. It was very clean and comfortable and the scenery was amazing! We met the owners who were very friendly. It's approximately 30 minutes from the West Yellowstone. There was so much to see and do we couldn't fit it all in. We would have liked to have had a day or two to just enjoy the property! I can't find one thing to complain about except that we didn't have enough time to enjoy it. I hope to return one day soon!
Amazing views and the cutest cabin.

This cabin is located roughly 30 mins from the west Yellostone entrance and due to busy season I couldn't stay in town. This cabin was the perfect solution. Could not have been more pleased with my stay. They literally thought of everything. The kitchen was fully stocked with any utensil you might need so I was able to cook and save some money there. The furnatuer is very comfortable and homey. The porch looks out on this beautiful valley and you felt away from everything yet it was close enough to town when you were ready to explore Yellowstone. The jacuzzi was nece and located on the side of the house with some amazing views while relaxing. It does have a long gravel drive but I had no issues with it in the sedan I was driving.
