Pets Considered

Cozy two bedroom cabin on a forested mountain hillside just 20 minutes from downtown Bozeman.

Super private location with ½ mile private drive!

It’s a cozy retreat with a high-tech sound and TV set-up.

The cabin can accommodate up to six guests.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Trail Creek Cabin is a delightful retreat tucked in the hills between Bozeman, Livingston, and the Paradise Valley. You have easy access to everything, but you’ll feel a world away, with a one half mile private lane to get you home. The cabin has two bedrooms, two and a half baths, and a loft with a sleeper sofa, so your group of up to six can be very comfortable. Head out to enjoy all the area has to offer, or kick back in the hammock and enjoy tunes from the great stereo system’s outdoor speakers.

BEDROOMS AND BATHS: The cabin has two bedrooms each with a queen size bed. One is on the main level just off the living room. There is a full bathroom with stall shower adjacent to it. The master bedroom is upstairs. The master has a flat screen TV, built-in stereo speakers, and a full bath with a slate tiled shower. For additional sleeping space, there is a large loft family room that has a queen size sleeper sofa. There’s a half bath off the loft family room.

KITCHEN: The kitchen is well equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare your meals. The stovetop and oven are gas. There is a bar counter for chatting with the cook, and the dining table is just off to the side. There is also a large gas barbecue for your outdoor grilling. Off the kitchen is a large laundry room with a washer and dryer.

DINING AREA: The dining table will seat eight comfortably. Just a few feet away is the kitchen bar, which seats four. The cabin also has 2 picnic tables on the patio. The dining area has a small woodstove to take off the chill on fall evenings.

LIVING ROOM: The living room is cozy, but not lacking in modern comforts. There is a Panasonic HD TV, built in speakers that connect to the Savant sound system. All of this is controlled by an iPad. From the living room there are doors out to both the front and side decks.

FAMILY ROOM: The large loft family room has plenty of space to spread out for watching TV, playing games or reading. There is a Samsung HD TV and built in speakers, a queen size sleeper sofa, and a private balcony with a view out to the forest.

SETTING, ACREAGE, AND VIEWS: Trail Creek Cabin sits on 20 private acres on a forested mountainside, and is part of a larger property of 300 acres. One half-mile drive off the already quiet county road, you have complete peace and privacy. Tucked in the pine and spruce forest where regular visitors include deer, elk, moose, hawks and coyotes.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: A large covered deck wraps around three sides of the cabin. Here you’ll find a big gas barbecue grill, a picnic table, hammock and Adirondack chairs for enjoying the peace and quiet at the end of a day’s adventure.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY: Besides walks right on the property, there are a number of Forest Service hiking trails within a few miles. There’s fishing on the nearby Yellowstone River, horseback riding, rafting, tours of Yellowstone National Park (just an hour away), and everything that the fun towns of Bozeman and Livingston have to offer. For an especially memorable experience in the park, book a specialized private tour with our sister company,Greater Yellowstone Guides.

CLOSEST TOWN AND AIRPORT: It's about 20 miles to Livingston and the Paradise Valley, 18 miles to Bozeman and 25 miles to Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport.

Great place to stay for a family - all mod cons, everything worked well. Facilities modern and well maintained. Cute comfortable 2 bedroom cabin, hidden away in the hills about 20 min out of Bozeman. Modern kitchen, good grill (BBQ). Fire heats up up the entire cabin (it was summer, but does get chilly at night and early morn). Definitely one of the better places we stayed

This is the first vacation I've taken since my Honeymoon in Hawaii last December! We saved and decided that this would be the place to visit since my wife and I have never been to Yellowstone, or Montana! It was terrific. We met my friend and his wife, who traveled from New York. The four of us stayed in the cabin and loved every minute.
It couldn't be any better then this!

My wife and I recently stayed at the Trail Creek cabin. We expected it to be nice but it was much better then that. The owner and builders took great care on every detail of building, furnishing and stocking this cabin. It has everything to make a person comfortable and exceptionally clean. The reception on the flat screen Tv's and sound system is beautiful, both are controlled from I-pads. It also has a landline phone and internet. The location of the cabin is perfect, nice views and very secluded. Bozeman is a quick and easy drive to the west. There you have the best of two worlds, the traditional downtown and the new restaurants close by. Yellowstone is a beautiful drive to the south. Very easy to get around. I guess one of my favorite things was sleeping upstairs with the window open, with nice cool air and the only noise is the breeze in the trees and birds. I would go back in a heartbeat!
Great place, poor check in/out times

The only negative I can think if is the 5pm check in time and the early 10am checkout. 3pm check in is fairly standard along with a noon checkout.
