One Of The Best Vacations Ever

We wanted to do something special for our 40th anniversary. We started in Glacier National then drove down to the Cabin for the 2nd have of our vacation. Awesome place if you are looking for a place away from people and you want to hear the sounds of the woods. We even could hear Elk in distance lots of deer and wild life. The drive to West Yellowstone gate was 40 minutes very easy drive. I loved the design, it had everything we needed we didn't miss watching TV at all. Only suggestion is it would have been helpful to know there was a cabinet with 2 cans of Bear Spray, flashlight and Whistle. I bought a can and had to leave it because you can not check it through airline. So there is now 3 can's of Bear Spray. Over all had to be one of the best vacations ever, really a nice place with great views.
We are very happy to know, that we at Mountain Home provided you with a great and out of the way spot for your 40th anniversary. Customers like you are why we love doing what we do. -MHteam

We loved the location and view.

We loved the location and view. Comfortable beds, great pillows. The washer and dryer were very handy. Lots of charm! We were surprised in seeing a fox with her kits, and a wood chuck that is living next to the shed. We also saw antelope. We were surprised that there were 16 steps up to the main level.
Hi Kristi - Thank you for being our guests and we love it that you saw so much wildlife while you were there. It is such a quiet spot that there are lots of critters that come through. We're sorry that the steps were a surprise. For future guests: This is an "upside down house" with the kitchen, living area, master bedroom and the rooftop deck upstairs, in order to take advantage of the killer views to the lake. The main level has the second bedroom and a large media room. - Suzy

Very comfortable rental in a wonderful location, a great home away from home.

This was a great location with easy access to Wade lake and Yellowstone. The house was very comfortable and outfitted with everything we needed for our stay. We spent great mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the lake view and the peace and quiet of the location.
Thanks so much for the kind words about Wade Lake Overlook. We're so happy that you thoroughly enjoyed your time there. I'm glad that you took advantage of that great rooftop deck with the view of the lake and the millions of stars! - Suzy

A wonderful place to admire the beauty of nature and Montana.

Absolutely beautiful location. Cabin very well equipped. Mule deer visiting every day. Very close to Wade and Cliff lakes which are gorgeous. Realy a very beautiful place. Watch the last step on the first section of stairs, it's taller than the rest. Beds were very comfortable but a little too small.
Thank you for the kind review, Cindy and Ross! We apologize if you found the queen and two twin beds smaller than your preference of bed sizes. We hope to have you as guests again in the future if you are back in the area!
