Description

Welcome to this charming four bedroom ranch, situated just east of Canyon Ferry, Montana. With a capacity of up to 12 guests, this lodge is perfect for families or groups of friends looking for a comfortable and peaceful retreat. We offer Starlink Internet for guests to stay connected and work or stream movies.

For guests who wish to bring their furry friends, dogs are considered with owner approval and a fee. Please inform us at the time of booking about the number and age/weight/breed of the dog(s) you are planning to bring.

NOTE TO HUNTERS: Please note that there is no hunting allowed on the property, as it is surrounded by private land. If you are a hunter, you will need to drive a few miles up Duck Creek Road in order to access National Forest.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The lodge is located just 6 miles from Canyon Ferry Reservoir, which is renowned for its walleye fishing, and is situated between Helena and Bozeman. It is also 19 miles from Townsend, providing a tranquil and secluded getaway.

SETTING: Duck Creek Ranch is nestled in the foothills of the Big Belt Mountains on an impressive 425-acre plot, offering a stunning and spacious setting for guests to enjoy. The nearby Canyon Ferry Reservoir is perfect for water activities, while the Big Belt Mountains provide ample opportunities for hiking, hunting, skiing, and snowmobiling.

BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS: The lodge features four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, including a master suite with a king-sized sleep number bed and a hot tub just outside the door. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed, while the third bedroom is a family suite with a queen-sized bed and two twin beds, as well as a half bath. The fourth bedroom has a bunk bed, and there is a loft that contains a king-sized bed.

KITCHEN & DINING: The large kitchen boasts a custom wood bar, every appliance you need, and ample counter space for preparing family meals. The adjacent dining room table seats 10 comfortably.

LIVING ROOM: The living room features a wood-burning fireplace and an 85" big screen for watching movies on your streaming services. There is also a large selection of DVDs to choose from, and plush leather furniture provides comfortable seating for the whole group.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Outdoor amenities include an expansive covered deck on the second floor, a patio below for grilling, and a newly added fire pit with chairs. There is also a hot tub located outside the master bedroom, and guests can enjoy limitless hiking and cross-country skiing in the winter on the property's rolling terrain.

CLOSEST AIRPORT: Helena Regional Airport is 42 miles from the home. Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is 76 miles from the home.

NEARBY ACTIVITIES: For those seeking nearby activities, abundant fishing opportunities can be found at the nearby Canyon Ferry Reservoir, and the town of Townsend is just 19 miles away. Helena is also easily accessible at just 46 miles away.

We spent spring break at this lovely home. We really enjoyed the house and the surrounding property. It’s very spacious and well decorated ( horse lovers will be especially pleased). The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and even some pantry staples. There are lots of games and DVDs. Our kids loved the 3rd floor loft. We will definitely come back here for another visit!

Lovely stay! Everything was clean and plenty of room for our group. We enjoyed spending a few nights hanging out, taking walks, playing pool, and sitting in the hot tub.

This home and property were absolutely lovely and breathtaking. It’s a great getaway to wide open nature and fresh air. The house is amazing, and well equipped with anything you might need. It made us feel right at home and was great for a family vacation.
