We stayed at Goose Creek Cabin for our Honeymoon in 2017 and came back in 2018. We found the Cabin to be a perfect place to re-charge and relax. Breakfast on the deck listening to the Sand Hill Crane is perfect. The Cabin location has plenty of privacy while being close to Bozeman for dinner and Yellowstone is only 75 min away. There are several Trail Heads close by and this year we enjoyed the hiking and seeing different parts of nature. The limited wifi and cell phone availability was perfect - allowed us the read and disconnect. The staff of Mountain Home is second to none - responsive, professional and customer focused. The staff was able to answer questions and gave us guidance that was spot on. The washer and dryer is a great convenience and makes life easy. We enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing on the deck in the evenings! We will be back!
This is a gem!

This was our third stay in the Goose Creek Cabin. With each trip we’ve stayed a little longer – it’s just that good! This trip we were here for 13 nights and still were not ready to leave. The rustic-looking cabin is nestled in the side of a hill with a sprawling meadow view from the deck. Deer move thru the meadow daily and we also enjoyed the open-range cows that came thru the meadow. You have a feeling of seclusion and the quiet is amazing! The cabin is a cozy and inviting gem. Mountain Home's description of this cabin is spot-on. The kitchen is very well set up for meal preparation. The beds are comfortable and the linens are great. The internet connection worked well. In the basement you’ll find a nice surprise – a full size washer and dryer. The deck stretches across the meadow side of the cabin and wraps around to the driveway. There is a nice sized grill and patio table. There is also an outside hose that works great for cleaning up hiking gear and the dog! A perfect day here is sitting on the deck after a long hike watching for the wildlife and the fall colors. Add a grilled meal and a cold beer and you may never want to leave! However, if you crave a little of the “city” life - Bozeman is just 12 miles away and is a fun mountain town with so much to offer. Friendly residents, great restaurants and craft breweries, and fun shopping. Mountain Home staff pay attention to details and they make the rental process so easy. We very much look forward to the next trip!

The location and the ambiance of the cabin is the best. It is very comfortably furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. The washer and dryer are a huge plus. After a long day of hiking there's no better place to be than sitting on the deck taking in the scenery and the wildlife. Don't make any changes! No bad surprises. A good surprise was the added internet. This wasn't in place for our trip in Sept of 2015. We did appreciate the access this year. The fall foliage was in full color for our trip this year. The Montana countryside just lights up in the fall.

This property was just what we wanted and needed. Private and secluded but close to Bozeman and Livingston. It was warm, cozy and inviting. The porch was great for early morning coffee and the hot tube for late afternoon soaks. an added surprise was the washer and dryer that saved us a day of vacation when we were able to do laundry on site. i especially enjoyed chatting with staff at their office in Bozeman. It was nice to know i was working with people who knew the area and property.

This small cabin was perfect for our needs. Beautiful view from the porch, well equipped kitchen, and hot tub for star gazing. Surrounded by meadows and long view mountain ranges , remote enough for lots of peace and quiet, but a very convenient short drive to Bozeman. The property management people we great. We will be back.
Goose Creek has it all - view, hot tub, privacy, close to town!

Plain and simple: we loved this cabin! We stayed three nights and I wished we lived there! It was private and even though there's a trailhead on the end of the road, it was still pretty quiet. Cabin was well appointed and we were pleasantly surprised to find a keurig in the cabin. We had brought our own. We grilled every night and spent most of our time between doing puzzles, sitting on the deck enjoying the unusally cool weather and the view or soaking in the hot tub. Finding the cabin and checking in was super easy. So was check out! Highly recommend!
