The cabin is appointed with period works of art, hand hooked and oriental rugs, rustic Western furnishings, and Ralph Lauren fabrics. It has a perfect campy feel! The property borders the famed Gallatin River. It’s in a neat location, tucked away at the end of a quiet lane. Guests enjoy the river right out the front door, as well as easy access to hiking, rafting, Yellowstone National Park and more. In the winter Big Sky Resort, cross country skiing, snowmobiling are all just a short distance away. Yellowstone Park is just 45 minutes away.
BEDROOMS AND BATHS: The home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms On the lower, walk out level you'll find a spacious bedroom with 2 twin beds (with a bit of advance notice this room can be converted to a king bed). On the upper level there's a master bedroom with a king size bed, as well as a small third room with one twin.
KITCHEN: The fully equipped kitchen has high quality appliances and amenities. While it looks like a simple cabin kitchen, it has absolutely everything you will need for any meal you have planned! There is a great selection of cookware, serving ware and a good spice cabinet as well. There's a deck right off the kitchen that is perfect for grilling steaks on the gas barbecue grill and there's seating for outdoor meals.
DINING AREA: There is a four person dining table in the kitchen.
LIVING ROOM: The spectacular Montana stone fireplace is the focal point of this room. It’s been tastefully designed and updated by an interior designer for an incredibly cozy western vintage feel.
CLOSEST TOWN AND AIRPORT:Big Sky's Meadow Village with a full grocery and a great selection of shops and restaurants is just a ten minute drive, and the larger towns of Bozeman and West Yellowstone are each about 45 minutes away. The Bozeman Big Sky International Airport is an easy one hour drive from the home.
This property requires a four wheel drive vehicle in winter.
ACTIVITIES NEARBY: Besides phenomenal skiing at Big Sky Resort, Lone Mountain Ranch has great Nordic trails for cross country skiers. You can also head down to Yellowstone in either summer or winter to see the most beautiful country in the world, wildlife, natural thermal features, and endless hiking and fishing opportunities. Big Sky area has plenty of its own hiking and mountain biking trails. Fishermen will enjoy Beaver Creek and the nearby access to the Gallatin River as well as the solitude of fishing in Yellowstone Park.
