About Mountain Home Montana Vacation Rentals
Who are we?
For over twenty years Mountain Home Montana Vacation Rentals has been in the business of helping travelers plan memorable trips to one of the most beautiful parts of the world and helping homeowners care for their property and optimize its value. We have homes that have been with us for ten or more years, and we have guests who come back to stay year after year.
Here at Mountain Home we are very selective about the properties we work with. They must meet strict criteria including, and not least importantly, whether we would want to spend our own precious vacation time there. We are a value added guest service business, wanting our guests to feel like just that…guests.
We get rave guest reviews, which makes us prouder than anything else we do.
Last but not least, we feel lucky to live in this beautiful part of the world and to be able to make a living here, as well. We don’t take our blessings lightly. For that reason, we are committed to giving a percentage of our earnings to local and other groups that make this world a better place. To see who we support, check out the links below.

Suzy Hall Suzy founded Mountain Home Montana Vacation Rentals in 1995, after working for a number of years in the adventure travel industry. She thought it would be a great stay-at-home mom sort of business. Ha! That didn’t work out as planned and she’s had a great staff helping run the show almost ever since. Suzy’s a New Englander who fell in love with the Rockies 40 years ago and never looked back. Her husband Kim runs Greater Yellowstone Guides, and together they are trying to keep up with their two teenagers.
Allison Konkel We have our very own rodeo queen! General Manager Allison came from her home in Colorado to ride on the Montana State University rodeo team. She rode and roped – and majored in accounting. She’s a smarty, so she can do our books and answer homeowner questions, and still keep an eye on the rest of us. In her free time she still rides some, and she husband Ted are wrangling two adorable littlies.
Lisa Orr Our Reservations Manager Lisa is Montana born and bred. She grew up a couple of hours east of here in Laurel, and went to school a couple of hours west at the University of Montana. She doesn’t love our winters but she lives to fish on our area rivers, spring through fall. Lisa is so good at what she does that she’s been named multiple years to Conde Nast Traveler’s Top Villa Specialists List. Lisa and her partner Ron are also parents to two teeny boppers.
Jill Yoder Jill is a longtime Bozeman resident, making her move from Pennsylvania after working as a housekeeper in Yellowstone National Park in the summer of 1997. She’s another Montana State University alum with a Masters in English. Yay, we have a writer and an editor! Jill has two teenagers, one of whom’s a freshman at Columbia this year. She enjoys backpacking and fishing across the Northwest with her partner Pat of Fish Eye Guy Photography, and her sweet old pooch named Scarlet.
Emily Cope Emily, a licensed property manager, is our Efficiency Queen – she gets things done and keeps us organized! She attended Florida State University (rowing crew!) after moving around the country as a Navy brat. While she and husband Matt are relative newbies to Montana, having moved here just a few years ago, they are taking full advantage of everything the area has to offer, especially hiking and backpacking with their golden retriever, Stella.
