We were 4 middle aged guys on a yearly fishing trip. We have stayed in all sorts of places on trips over the years but this was the best set up by far. Plenty of room, a great back porch and grill for steaks and margaritas in the evening. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the Mountain Home folks were awesome.

The house was very nice and easily accommodated our party. We had a lot of problems with rental agent quoting wrong dates, telling us there was a/c in house, giving wrong directions and more. We specifically rented this place as our daughter was getting married and we wanted someplace cool for all of us to dress. We were told by the agent that this was one of there only homes with a/c and we didn't check ourselves since it was Feb. when we rented the house. Very displeased when we entered the home and found there was no a/c. Also the picture on-line and on the internet as above are deceiving. You cannot see the river from the house downstairs as the high weeds occlude the view and you must walk through these weeds to get to the river. The pic shows a beautiful grassy lawn all the way down to the river. Ain't so!

We had three generations staying at the beautiful River's Bend Retreat. It was wonderful for people to get together and catch up or find a space to have some quiet time. We were surprised from looking on the maps at how close and convenient it was to Target and Costco, the airport, downtown Bozeman, great family hike in Gallatin Nat'l Forest, and the mountain-view wedding location. Perfect for our family.

Extremely convenient location to town, MSU and airport. We had family in and out all week. The house is well appointed. Certainly a great spot on the river. I would certainly consider for a week of fishing on our next trip to town.

The service and information prior to arrival was wonderful. We followed all directions which were so easy and walked into a beautifully decorated, clean home that met all of our expectations. The one word that came out of everyone's mouth upon entering was, "awesome!" With an open floor plan, spacious rooms for gathering and sleeping, and a kitchen that met every cook's wildest dreams we were "home". We followed the directions for Montana air conditioning which worked perfectly. That was everyone's favorite time- going to sleep with the windows open hearing the Gallatin River flow behind us. The yard was perfect for lawn games. We loved the country feel but it it was still so close to town for our many trips doing wedding planning. We loved every minute and we were sad to leave the house as well as Bozeman.

We had seven adults who came together to fly fish, hike, and enjoy Bozeman's beautiful outdoors (as well as some awesome shopping). The house was very spacious, and we all agreed that the pictures didn't do it justice. It was one of the cleanest vacation homes in which we've stayed. The beds were all very comfortable, the linens were ample, and the rooms were well insulated so that they were quiet. We cooked in for dinner every night, and we always found all of the utensils and pots and pans we needed, along with a huge grill on the deck. The dining room table was large enough to seat far more than our party of 7. The view of the river and mountains from the kitchen windows was simply gorgeous, and we also enjoyed sitting on the patio looking at the same beautiful view. The location felt secluded, and yet we were only 10 minutes from major shopping (Cosco, REI, grocery stores and a fabulous downtown). One of the main reasons for this trip was to learn more about fly fishing. Three people in our party took guided trips on two days and couldn't have been more pleased. Dane from Montana Troutwranglers (www.troutwranglers.com) was a skilled guide and teacher who taught them so much about the sport. Four of us enjoyed massages at The Loft in downtown Bozeman, and we would definitely recommend their services. We also were very impressed with Mountain Home, the management company. We found just a couple of tiny problems when we arrived, like a smoke detector battery that was beeping, and they were immediately resolved. Prior to our arrival, we received a folder full of information on the house and of things to do in the area. It was all very helpful. Every contact we made with Mountain Home was dealt with quickly and thoroughly, whether it was through email or by phone. We would definitely use them again. River's Bend was such a lovely spot to spend a week. We all hated to leave.
This was truly our home in Bozeman.

The Montana Home people were great--all of them. Quick and friendly, and very helpful. A very good service. The home was okay, the views and isolation were great. A little distance from town, but close to the airport.
