Cozy downtown apartment that is walking distance to Montana State University.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This one bedroom apartment is located in a very desirable neighborhood on the south side of Bozeman. This home has all the amenities of urban living, as well as the perfect amount of space for two (or four) people to spread out in modern comfort.

BEDROOMS AND BATHS: The home has one tastefully decorated bedroom and one bathroom. The bedroom has a beautiful queen-size bed, modern lamps and antique side tables as well as a large closet with a programmable safe. There is one full bathroom with a walk in shower. There is also a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room.

KITCHEN: This fully equipped and high-end kitchen offers top of the line stainless steel appliances including a stove/oven, French door style fridge, dishwasher and microwave. It has everything you will need to prepare any meal you have planned. There is a nice selection of cookware, serving- ware and a good selection of small appliances as well as a walk-in pantry for grocery storage, stocked with basic cooking /baking staples, spices, and coffee. Guests can dine at the kitchen bar which has stools for two or at the fold-down table attached to the stairwell wall.

LIVING ROOM: The cozy living room features a queen-size pull out sofa for additional sleeping. Cozy modern furniture accent the living room.

SETTING, ACREAGE, VIEWS: The home is located above a garage near the MSU campus. Main Street is less than a mile away, and there are several great coffee shops and restaurants within a few blocks of the home.

CLOSEST AIRPORT: You’re just 13 miles from Bozeman’s Yellowstone International Airport.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY: Besides hiking, biking, and trail running right from town, there is fishing on the nearby East Gallatin and main Gallatin Rivers, horseback riding, rafting, tours of Yellowstone National Park, and everything that the fun town of Bozeman has to offer. You’re just a 17-mile drive from Bridger Bowl Ski Area and Crosscut Cross Country Ski Area, and about a 43- mile drive to Big Sky. It’s also a beautiful 80- mile drive to the North Entrance of Yellowstone.

Had a wonderful stay at Capitol Hill Loft! I was here visiting my daughter at Montana State University. The loft was just 2 blocks from her dorm! It was perfect! I did a LOT of cooking for these college girls and the loft had everything I needed! Very quiet street and so convenient. I will definitely stay again!

My wife and I had a lovely stay here. The loft is well equipped and has everything you need. Luke from mountain home picked me up the morning after arrival so I could get my rental car from them, which was the BEST deal in town. The location is great, close to everything downtown. Would stay here again!

Capitol Hill Loft is a perfect getaway stay. It's a cozy and charming apartment that's in a great location. It has everything you need for a short stay in Bozeman. Comfortable bed, high quality linens, fully functional kitchen. We would definitely recommend it to others and hope to be back again soon.

Overall

A beautifully renovated space in a relatively quiet setting. No a/c and it was a bit warm. The check in was 5pm and check out 10am. Would have preferred earlier in and later out as we were in town for a funeral and needed extra time. Staff at Mountain home was responsive to questions quickly. I would recommend this property for folks who can climb stairs and maybe when it is not in the 90's in Bozeman.

We have about one week each summer that is on the hot side, and when we all wish we had AC. But for the rest of the year we don't even consider it. Unfortunately you hit that week this year. Overall

My wife and I stayed in this apartment two times for a week in November 2018. We found it the perfect place to be centrally in the old and in many respects most interesting part of Bozeman. Furniture, decoration, and appliances all are superb, well functioning, and exceptionally tasteful. Really a cozy place which makes you feel well-taken care of, even in the cold and chilly season of the year! Well be back!

Amazing location in a charming apartment

I had the pleasure of staying in the Capitol Hill Loft for over a month this winter season. The apartment is in an ideal location in Bozeman...close to just about anything you want including a lovely local market, coffee shops, campus, downtown main street, the Emerson Cultural Center and more. The street the apartment is on dead ends in the beautiful Gallagator trail, which takes you next to a stream and down a beautiful tree lined route straight to the library and downtown. The apartment itself is tastefully decorated, the appliances are top notch and the kitchen a dream to cook in! I can't think of a better location or place to spend time while exploring all that Bozeman has to offer. Add in the warmth and friendliness of the owners and you have the perfect vacation rental. I won't hesitate to book it again when I am back in Bozeman.
