The dwelling, designed by renowned architects Jonathan Foote and Paul Bertelli, radiates exquisite western style, and sprawls over 2000 square feet of living space, set amidst a sprawling 200-acre property, complete with over two miles of Mill Creek meandering through it. A unique feature of this cabin is the walkway with transparent floors that connects the living area and the sleeping quarters, under which the Counts Creek flows. This property is truly one of a kind!

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS: This cozy abode boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a sleeping loft in the Counts Creek Cabin. The primary bedroom is furnished with a luxurious king-sized bed, while the second bedroom features two queen beds mounted on custom log frames. The bathroom attached to the latter is exclusively for its use, while the other bathroom lies in the hallway between the two rooms. For additional sleeping space, there is an elevated platform in the living area that can accommodate a twin bed.

KITCHEN AND DINING: The gorgeous kitchen, equipped with butcher block countertops, is open to the living area, making it an ideal space for entertaining. The dining table seats eight, and there is additional seating for four at the kitchen bar, providing ample space for everyone to enjoy a sumptuous meal together.

LIVING SPACE: The living room exudes warmth and comfort, adorned with a Montana stacked stone fireplace and plush leather couches, inviting you to unwind and relax. Open the windows, and you can hear the soothing sound of Counts Creek flowing by.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Outside, an exquisite stone patio off the living room presents a breathtaking view of Mill Creek and the towering walls and parapets of Mill Creek Canyon. Walk down to the creek right from the patio and indulge in a fulfilling fly-fishing experience. On the backside of the house, you will find another stone patio with a built-in gas grill for a delightful outdoor cooking experience.

CLOSEST AIRPORT: Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport is approximately 60 miles away from the property, while Livingston is a mere 27-mile drive.

NEARBY ACTIVITIES: The area offers a multitude of activities, including hiking, mountain biking on nearby trails, and private access to Mill Creek, a rare privilege. The Yellowstone River, horseback riding, golfing, skiing, and the attractions of Livingston, Gardiner, and Bozeman are all within close proximity. Just 12 miles from the home is Chico Hot Springs, which boasts an excellent restaurant and saloon, and a large mineral pool for soaking. Yellowstone National Park is located approximately 40 miles away from the home.

Overall

This property was absolutely incredible. Our family could not have asked for anything better. The caretaker’s of the ranch are the kindest people and go above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. The home has everything you need if you like to cook meals in. We caught a few really nice fish on Mill Creek and the access is steps from the door. There are also horses who live on the property and they were so gentle and welcoming. If you like to look for grizzly bears you can continue your drive down the dirt road and enjoy searching for them. We highly recommend this property!

Overall

This cabin is truly wonderful. The marvelous location and setting is bested only by the wonderful hosts and visits from the fluffy cows. Just off the beauty of Paradise Valley, this majestic cabin is the gold at the bottom of those rainbows.

Overall

This gorgeous home had everything: spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, endless hiking trails, and a creek that runs through the middle of the home. Of all the places I have stayed, this home fit into and framed the landscape better than any other - truly a gem.
