The home can accommodate up to 10 guests.

Dogs are considered with owner approval and a fee. Please inform us at the time of booking of the number and age/weight/breed of the dog(s) you are planning to bring.

NOTE TO HUNTERS: There is no hunting allowed on the property. Though the property is large, it is surrounded by private land; you will need to drive a couple miles up Duck Creek Road in order to access National Forest.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This lodge is located 6 miles from Canyon Ferry Reservoir, one of the best walleye lakes in Montana, right between Helena and Bozeman, and 15 minutes from Townsend. You will feel miles away from the hustle and bustle of life.

AREA AND SETTING: Duck Creek Ranch is located in the foothills of the Big Belt Mountains on an impressive 425 acres. Canyon Ferry Reservoir is a short drive away as is hiking, hunting, skiing and snowmobiling in the Big Belt Mountains. If you’re looking for privacy and room to wander, this is your spot!

BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS: There are four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms in the lodge. The master suite has a king sleep number bed with the hot tub just out the door. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom is a family suite with a queen and two twin beds and a half bath. The fourth bedroom has a bunk bed and there is a loft that contains a king bed.

KITCHEN: The large kitchen has a custom wood bar for evening drinks or your cup of coffee in the morning. It includes every appliance you would need and plenty of counter space for preparing big family meals. The adjacent dining room table seats 10 comfortably.

LIVING ROOM: This is the perfect spot to settle in for a cozy night! A wood burning fireplace is in the corner and there is a projector set up to watch movies on the big screen. Enjoy it all on plush leather furniture with enough seating for the whole group.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: There is plenty of outdoor space around the home for any activity! The second floor has an expansive covered deck and the patio below is perfect for grilling. There is a hot tub located outside of the master bedroom. Enjoy limitless hiking and XC skiing in the winter on the property’s 425 acres of rolling terrain.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY: Abundant fishing opportunities can be found in the nearby Canyon Ferry Reservoir and Townsend is 30 minutes away. Helena is just over an hour away.

This home and property were absolutely lovely and breathtaking. It’s a great getaway to wide open nature and fresh air. The house is amazing, and well equipped with anything you might need. It made us feel right at home and was great for a family vacation.
