Perfect house for family

Absolutely the perfect house for our family in town for destination wedding? 8 adults and granddaughter 19 months had plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen, bathrooms, 2 porta cribs (we put 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs). Huge yard for the dog and baby to run around ( not quite 100% fenced but worked for us). Close to Livingston and Yellowstone. Incredible views, quiet and just the perfect place for our 10 day stay in Montana.

This house was perfect and the views were amazing! We met up with family to enjoy Super Bowl weekend together, the pool table and hot tub were great and we had everything we needed to make some good food! Thanks so much for everything, we can’t wait to meet here again! The pictures don’t do this house justice, it’s amazing!

We stayed at this house with plans of visiting Yellowstone. Unfortunately, we chose the week of the 100 year flood so we were unable to go. The first day we were unable to get back to the house due to flooded roads. I contacted Mountain Homes and they told us if we were unable to stay for the remainder of the week due to the floods that they would refund our money. Luckily, we were able to get back to the house and decided to stay. It was a family vacation after all, with family members from multiple states. Dan, the property manager, even drove up multiple times to check on us to make sure everything was good and offered us suggestions of things to do. The property was beautiful and Montana is beautiful so we are happy we decided to stay. Hopefully we have a chance to come back in the future once Yellowstone fully opens up again.

Montana and Elbow Creek was just what our family needed post covid lockdowns. Three families from Texas were joined by one from Virginia for a lovely vacation. This place made us feel at home for family fun, but was close enough to enjoy nearby attractions...Yellowstone and Chico Hot Springs. As pictures were shared with friends, inquiries were already coming in as to how to check into Elbow Creek. Hope we can come again!!

This place was literally paradise. I have stayed in home around the world and can’t recall a view like this. The peace and stringy was amazing. Jacob always responded quickly with answers. Can’t wait to come back.

7 of us loved staying here. The pool table and game room and hot tub were great for the boys (15, 11, and 4) and all the bedrooms and baths gave us plenty of room. Gorgeous, peaceful, setting to return “home”,to after a busy day. I enjoyed early morning walks to the creek. The AC units and fans kept the house comfortable.

This was a great base for us on a college-friend weekend meetup! Only complaints were the dishwasher lower tray was broken/not functional, making it difficult to use. But overall the house was very comfortable, clean, and great to spend time in.

Worth staying here again, and again, and...

This an amazing property. We have stayed at this house a total of 8 times now over the past several years. It easily accommodates our group of 10 adults and gives us room to gather for meals, to visit, or to spread out to a variety of quiet places. Of course, it would not be the same without the hot tub and pool table. We have stayed at the house in the middle of winter as well as in summer months. Although we have looked for other properties in the Paradise Valley to provide our group with a variety of locations, we have found nothing comparable and continue to return year after year. We love it.

Manager's Response

For gatherings and reunions like Dick's, Elbow Creek is about as good as it gets, and hosting guests like Dick are what make our job so satisfying here at Mountain Home. Thanks for staying with us again and again and we can't wait to have you back for stay number 9!

The house was spacious and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for our group to spread out! The teenagers loved the yard and played outside until it was dark and we made them come in. The elk in the pasture and yard in the morning was a great surprise. We would recommend this home and Mountain Home's services!

Family of 6 stayed here just last week. The home is as presented with a few windows that handles did not work. Other than that it was perfect for a central location with magnificent views and no light pollution for night sky viewing. Highly recommend.

Manager's Response

Hello Gary and Bonnie - Thank you for being our guests at Elbow Creek Retreat! I'm glad you got out to enjoy the night sky - it is pretty impressive there, isn't it, with the nearest city lights almost 20 miles away? - MH Team
P.S. Thank you for the heads up about the windows - our handy man has looked into it.
