Paradise Valley home overlooking the Yellowstone River with Chicory fishing access just a short walk from the home.

For larger groups, there are three more Mountain Home rentals within 1/4 mile!

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This wonderful home enjoys a great location up on the hill overlooking the Yellowstone River. The home is all one level with plenty of room to spread out. A great location halfway between the western town of Livingston and amazing Yellowstone National Park.

BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a private adjoining bath with a double vanity, large tub, and separate shower. There are two additional bedrooms down the hall, both with queen size beds. There is a full size bathroom in the hall.

KITCHEN/DINING: The complete kitchen with dishwasher, range, microwave, and all the cookware will have everything you need. The dining room table will seat six and there are additional seats at the bar. There is a gas barbecue at the home for outdoor cooking.

LIVING ROOM: A real wood burning fireplace is the focal point of the living room with cozy yet classy furniture arrangement for your evening relaxation and a flat screen TV above the fireplace. The living and dining areas feature huge windows to take advantage of the river and valley views.

AIRPORT: It's about 45 miles to Bozeman and 55 miles to Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport. Yellowstone Park's north entrance is about 40 miles away.

NEARBY ACTIVITIES: Fishing on the Yellowstone River is just a short walk from the home. Rent a drift boat, canoe, or raft, and plan your own adventures on the Yellowstone. Other nearby activities include hiking, biking, horseback riding, and the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Chico Hot Springs has world class dining and great soaking just a few miles down the road. The town of Livingston is 20 miles away with a great selection of restaurants, galleries, and shopping. Bozeman is just over the hill. Winter visitors can enjoy cross-country skiing in the beautiful Absaroka Mountains and Yellowstone Park.

Paradise Valley Retreat

My family and I have visited Paradise Valley three times now. Each time we have stayed at a different rental property. Next time we will absolutely book Yellowstone Trail again! This house was very spacious and had all of the comforts of a modern home with the mountain backdrop. Cannot say enough about the hot tub w/ sky view or the views at night and morning either of the three porches. We enjoy cooking and this kitchen has all of the amenities for a home cooked meal (along with the grill outside).The location is perfect for us as we like to be as close to the park as we are to Livingston as we enjoy a day in each of Livingston and Bozeman along with Yellowstone/Gardiner when we visit. Proximity to the Chicory Fishing Access (5 min. walk) was great to be able to fish and cool off in the river. Last but not least, 13 minutes to Chico Hot Springs is never a bad thing as the saloon is always a nice place to pass an evening. The property management company was responsive to our questions and was willing to work with us to make our stay as great as it was. I cannot say enough nice things about this property and look forward to the day when we get to stay here again.

Amazing Views!!

We arrived at night, which was a little tricky because it was so dark but we got all tucked in and OH MY GOODNESS, the next morning watching the sunrise over the mountains was SPECTACULAR! The home was very clean and had plenty of room for 6 adults. The shower was hot and had good pressure. The kitchen has everything you need. Everyone has left LOTS of salt and pepper, lol. There's plenty of the necessities. We had a suburban and had no problem pulling it in the garage to unload. We made a fire at night, which was super cozy. It's very windy there. A local said it's called the "Living Winds". I believe it! There were deer that seemed very comfortable in the front yard, along with an 8-point buck. The views from this home are unbeatable. We all would just stand in the living room and look out the windows. We were there for a wedding that was close by so the only thing that I would recommend would be more mirrors. There were only mirrors in the bathrooms. Thanks!!!

Perfect Paradise in The Valley

This place is just as perfect as the pictures!!! The kitchen was FULLY stocked as far as tools and untencils go. So much space! The hot tub was perfect and the views even better! The location is perfect for Livingston and Chico. Even the drive to Bozeman. Being right along the river was a huge perk as well. It was perfect. If there wasn’t so much more of the country to explore I would rebook in a heartbeat. Thousand percent recommend. Also, I was worried about this in reading past reviews-I did not have any issues with hot water and took a bath every morning!

Great Cabin Rental

The cabin’s location was great with beautiful views, walking access to the Yellowstone river and tons of wildlife to watch. The cabin was well equipped with anything one should need for a short or long trip. If we return to the area, we’ll definitely look to rent this cabin again.

Such a great place to stay! Beautiful mountain views, as well as close access to the Yellowstone River! Close to Chico and all it offers, plus the Old Saloon in Emigrant. Not too far from Livingston or Gardiner and Yellowstone. This house was incredibly clean and everything was well thought out! We enjoyed the hot tub as well as the ping pong table!

The rental is absolutely beautiful and the cleanest home I’ve ever rented. It’s a newer home, lots of attention to detail and so well cared for. Before arrival I had a few questions and the team was quick to respond. About 45 minutes to the park entrance-completely worth the drive. After seeing photos of the views from the house several people have asked for the rental information(which I’ve happily passed along and recommended).

This was our second trip to the Livingston/Yellowstone area and the first time around we had a wonderful house. We were hopeful but uncertain based on the google map of the house this year but the reality was fantastic. The house is beautiful and all the details were thought of, especially in the kitchen and baths. Our coffee maker died while there and the host team was immediately responsive having a new one delivered (and the house is pretty far out). Would highly recommend this home. Great location if visiting Livingston or Yellowstone (about 20-30 minutes to Livingston) and though in a community still feels apart from it all. Thank you Mountain Home Montana!

I was a little nervous to book this VRBO, since it didn’t have a lot of reviews, but so glad I did. This house was obviously built recently, everything is new and the finishes are beautiful. Gorgeous views and less than an hour from the Yellowstone entrance.Kudos to the property management team! This house was the cleanest and best organized of any VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen and pantry were SO well organized and stocked with dishes and utensils. The fridge was sparkling clean. There was plenty of room to store the food we brought.Nothing in the house was dirty, worn, or felt used. The mattresses were nice and firm. The grill was clean and worked perfectly. The hot tub was clean and amazing to relax in after a long day of driving. Our kids had a great time riding their bikes in the driveway.You can definitely tell that this property is new and professionally maintained. We would totally stay here again if we come back to the area.
