Pictures do not do this lovely piece of property justice. The Sage Ranch was more than we anticipated. The homes were comfortable and homey. After a day of activities coming back to relax was a great way to end the day. The views are incredible along with the spotted wildlife you see around. Thank you for the wonderful stay! This is a highly recommended place to stay. We love Montana!!!

This was an amazing location to celebrate our wedding. The 3 separate lodging areas allowed us to house our wedding party on location with us but gave us a bit of needed privacy! We had a few small maintenance issue which were immediately addressed. Could not recommend this rental more! perfect vistas for the valley and great location to access the park at both Chico and Yellowstone hot springs. We will be back!

Sage Ranch was the perfect location for our group of eight. We had four teens in the bunkhouse, two adults in the main house and two adults in the stable apartment. Everyone had privacy as needed. The ranch had beautiful views, all necessary amenities, walking distance to swim in the river, and close proximity to YNP. It greatly contributed to our memorable family vacation!

Beautiful Spot to Relax

We visited Sage Ranch with my family of 6 and my in-laws. The set up was perfect with the kids in the bunkhouse and the in-laws in the apartment over the garage. My wife and I had the log cabin to ourselves which meant quiet time in the mornings and evenings. The views are spectacular with 180 degree views of the valley including Emigrant Peak, Yellowstone River, and Yankee Jim Canyon. We were able to witness several rainbows during our stay. The property is bordered by Rock Creek which enters the Yellowstone on the property. I loved this area of the ranch for floating and fishing. The fishing cabin was a real plus. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed and had high-end appliances. The house was well located in the valley to experience Yellowstone, Livingston, Chico, etc. We loved driving up Tom Miner Rd each evening to see bear, moose, elk, and deer. We experienced more wildlife in this small valley than I had during my collective youth exploring the WY backcountry and Yellowstone. This was a great spot to relax, get off technology, and be with family. Thanks to the owners for continuing the legacy of this special place! - Steven

Fabulous Setting for our Wedding

The Sage Ranch along with The Ashling Ranch was the most perfect place for our Montana Wedding. We had family from MD, TN, Texas, Arizona and were all able to stay at the two ranches together, just minutes apart, yet having our own privacy as well. I can't say enough about the beauty of the properties, the fabulous views, the Yellowstone River access with the Fishing Cabin. We were only 17 miles from Yellowstone so family were able to go visit part after our beautiful wedding there. The views from the homes were outstanding and the wildflowers were in total bloom for our June wedding. A Dream Come True Experience
