A family wedding was our introduction to Montana and Bozeman. We are so grateful to Luke at Mountain Home for providing the spectacular Sourdough Ranch main house and Black Bear Cottage to give our families memories we will cherish forever. Both properties are charming and beautifully rustic. Everyone loved the wildlife sightings, fishing pond and easily accessed trailheads. Thanks to everyone for making this a once in a lifetime experience!

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home. The views are stunning and it is walking distance to great public trails. Getting to downtown Bozeman was a super easy short drive. We fished the Madison and Yellowstone from this home base, as well as visited Yellowstone National Park. The privacy of the lower level and the pool table room was a big hit with our adult children. We will definitely be back!

Perfect place for our needs. House was accessible to all the adventures we enjoyed in Bozeman, Big Sky and Yellowstone. Amazing views and lots of wildlife in area that made it idyllic location for family getaway. Great Kitchen that allowed us all to gather together and share the wonderful meals.

Second time I have stayed at the Main house. This time it was a guys trip and it was so quiet and relaxing, yet conveniently located close to Bozeman. Of course we did all the Montana fun stuff, float fly fish, ATVing, and Yellowstone.I am sure we will be back in the future.

We stayed here as we finished up a college tour (MSU) for our son. It was the perfect Montana home experience. Exceptionally appointed, clean, state of the art appliances, and breathtaking views. Great walks right out the front door. Loved the screened in back porch to relax and read "outside" w/out the hassle of the insects. Boys loved the pool table downstairs. I appreciated the washer and dryer. A quick trip to town for dinner, or, to the Gallatin river to fly fish. Will definitely be back. Montana Mountain Homes worked with us and were fantastic!

Amazing views, outdoor space, and well decorated cabin!

Loved the peace and quiet of this out of town, but not too far away, house. A very restful getaway. Two beds and two baths were equally nice. Good ATT cell and data coverage, and the house has wifi that worked well. Kitchen is very well stocked with equipment and basic seasonings, etc. There are some negative comments in the reviews about the newly constructed water treatment plant. It was a non-issue for us. It is down and to the side, and not very tall. Still plenty of great views to enjoy!

Manager's Response

Hello Justin - We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay so much. We love this home as well! Thank you for being our guests and we hope you can come stay again, either here or at another of the homes and cabins that we care for. - Suzy
P.S. In 2017 a major renovation was completed adding two more large bedrooms, each with en-suite baths and walk out patios, so the property is even better!

We loved the outdoor deck areas, the beautiful living space, the finishes on all of the house - the carpentry was just spectacular. We were very happy with this house. So clean and well kept. Look for pileated woodpeckers off the deck (I saw one - very interesting to see in Gallatin Valley) and the bear paw prints in the mud behind the house got everybody's attention.

Manager's Response

Hi Alice - Thank you for being our guests and we're so happy that the property worked well for you. Yes, we DO see a lot of interesting wildlife there...but a pileated woodpecker, that's extra special! We hope you'll be able to come back sometime soon! - Suzy
