Big Sky Resort

Big Sky Resort is located on top of beautiful Lone Mountain. This massive complex has over 300 trails and 38 chairlifts, some of which even have heated seats! Spend your day exploring the 5,850 acres of terrain and take a tram to the summit of the mountain, which, at over 11,000 feet, offers a panoramic view of Montana’s stunning landscapes. You’ll be glad you did.

Bozeman Hot Springs

When the weather is chilly, it’s the perfect time to sink into the naturally heated pools at Bozeman Hot Springs. The Nutcracker with the Bozeman Symphony

Each year, the Montana Ballet Company performs Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker” with the Bozeman Symphony. The Annual Christmas Stroll 

One of Bozeman’s greatest traditions is the Christmas Stroll. Every year on the first Saturday in December, the community gathers to walk down Main Street with Santa as he illuminates holiday lights and sings Christmas carols. That’s not all; food vendors and downtown businesses also participate! This is a great way to experience the city like one of the locals and create lasting holiday memories.

Winter Art Walk

Art aficionados will appreciate the Winter Art Walk. This annual event happens the second Friday in December and features local artists all around downtown Bozeman. Yellowstone National Park is open in December, but with limited access. Most roads are closed to regular vehicles, and many of the facilities are shut. If you want to go, consider booking a commercially guided skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, or snowcoaching tour with an authorized company.
